But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Pretty disgusted with the Moes in Lake City Fl. Recently my son quit after becoming tiresome of the poor work ethics of the pre-release prisoners. These prisoners for the most part don't care about the job they are doing and create more stress for actual employees. As in the course of the 4 months of his employment dozens of lake city citizens were turned away from jobs due to this cheaper source of labor. The chips are normally under or over cooked and the quality of the final product there is below average (compared to other Moe's I have previously eaten at). I've been to several neighboring cities Moe's southwest grill. from the famous "welcome to Moe's" (which lacks any enthusiasm or synchronization between employees in the lake city store) to more variety in every area including; extra protein choices, drink options (including green tea, beer, and freshly made lemonade), and more diverse desert options. The lake city store lacks motivation and diversity, by far the worst Moe's I have been to.

Another new Moe's. A welcome addition for when I'm driving on I-75. This was not the cleanest Moe's that I've been too, a little sticky tables and saw a few flys buzzing around the restaurant.

Moe's (Moes Southwest Grill) is Chip's (Chipotle) brother. They have some really good food for how fast it is. It's probably the better "brother". the queso makes him the alpha just by a little. They also have great salsa, 4 different types typically, and they are all free! If you like one of their food items you will more then likely like them all it's all the same ingredients Also they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle Soda Machine which is any soda flavor in one machine that's another nice touch.

Went there for a to go order. They missed my daughters burrito and so we sat and started eating while waiting. For fast decent Mexican this usually meets our expectations. If you know what order, it's pretty reasonably priced too. The Joey Junior in a bowl is a better buy than the regular rice bowl. The salsa bar is good, the fresh chopped jalapeños are hot, and the ice water is cold. The only negative is the long line to stand and wait before you get your food.
